Specialized Warehouses
Specialized warehouses are equipped with refrigeration and insulation facilities. They are suitable for storing goods with special properties or requiring certain technical equipment. Goods such as sugar, fruits, grains, medicinal herbs, and poultry meat are prone to melting, mold, and rotting, and are stored in large quantities, requiring refrigeration or constant temperature storage.
General-Purpose Warehouses
General-purpose warehouses, also known as ordinary warehouses or comprehensive warehouses, generally refer to warehouses with ambient temperature storage, natural ventilation, and no special functions. General-purpose warehouses manage goods by zone and category according to the principle of consistent product properties and maintenance measures. These warehouses do not require special technical equipment and constitute a large proportion of commercial warehouses in China.
Hazardous Materials Warehouses
Hazardous materials warehouses are specialized warehouses equipped with special equipment and corresponding fire-fighting measures to provide a certain level of protection for hazardous materials. Because hazardous materials are flammable, explosive, toxic, corrosive, or radioactive, they must not be stored together with general goods. The primary task of a hazardous materials warehouse is to ensure the safe storage of various hazardous materials.
